Hallardin

Waves of the ocean crashed softy against the beach of white sand and gulls cawed and flew over the surf. Sitting on the beach a lone figure sat listening to the waves and watching the sunrise, his silvery white hair was plastered to his face and hung in wet strands when he took a swim earlier in the dark waters that soon began to lighten to a bright blue that faded to dark blue as the water got deeper.

Akira took a deep a breath and let it out, enjoying this one peaceful moment before he had to get back to his duties which frankly was...nothing.

Sighing he got up and brushed the sand off his pants and did a quick spell to make the water soaked into them vaporize by the small fire spell before walking up and brushed his feet off one by one before putting them into his boots and bending down to pick up his armor like vest and red trench coat. Akira then began walking toward his home and toward boredom. He still claimed himself as a Knight of Hallardin even though those pesky obnoxious Healers during the last war decided they could nothing and when he pulled through he was pissed that they then wouldn't let him fight anymore.

With an angry sigh over what happened he glanced down at the medium sized scar that was on the left side of his chest just above his heart. A grievous wound indeed. He then put on the vest and threw his coat on just as his boot feet hit the pavement and the waking city of Hallardin.

The sound of water could be heard along with the smell of salt in the air. Isabella continued walking until she stopped at the edge of the water. She let out a sigh seeing the vast ocean in front of her. She had gone in the wrong direction yet again. She looked down the beach in both directions wondering which way to go.
"I'll go this way," she said turning to her left.
Isabella walked down the beach hoping she would soon find a road nearby. As she walked, a lone figure could be seen in the distance. Isabella perked up, if there was a person, that must've meant she was near a town or city of some sort. Isabella picked up her pace but ended up falling on her face.
"Ugh stupid sand," she muttered as she sat up and took her boots off.
She picked them up and began walking towards the figure again. She sand was hot against her feet, but very soft.

After walking into the city he stopped where he was and looked back toward the beach that was alittle ways behind him feeling that someone was following him. Cursing that he left his bow and arrows behind but checked and noticed that he had his short swords on him and smiled slightly.

He quickly blended with the growing crowd of early risers and shot down an alley to a ladder that leaned against the one building and climbed it to the rooftop of 1 story building and unsheathed one of the short swords holding it in his right hand and kneeled down waiting for whom ever was or is following him. As he waited though he took his free hand and ran them through his hair making spike up.

Isabella soon saw a house more inland and a road leading to a city. She smiled as she quickly got her boots on and headed into town. She looked around wondering what happened to that guy from earlier. She wasn't that far behind him and there weren't many people out. Isabella shrugged and looked around thinking of what she should do first. She started to walk as she think, heading down one of the alley ways.

Akira streached and then yawned hoping he didn't have to wait to long. Just then he noticed a young girl go down the alley way he used to get to one of the rooftops. He watched her a bit before standing up, sheathing his sword, walking to the edge and jumping down behind her; his coat then settled to frame his muscular form.

"New here? You seem alittle lost." he inquired.

Isabella continued to walk when she suddenly heard a man's voice behind her. She whipped around, but tangled her own feet ending up on the ground. Isabella looked up at the man seeing his white hair.
"Um, yeah," Isabella muttered as she got up.
She tried to get up and keep what little dignity she had left now. Her face had gone a little red as she dusted herself off.

Being a knight of honor he bent down to help her up when she fell.

"You all right there?" he asked.

"I'm fine," Isabella with a pout.
She looked at him and could see his features more clearly. She hadn't really noticed but he was quite tall and lean. He must've been some kind of ninja or something. Isabella then began to imagine dark shady people wearing dark clothing and masks over their faces.

"That's good," he said with a smile and held out his arm for her to take being polite.

"Your pretty cute, and here let me show you around Hallardin." he said still grinning.

Isabella was soon brought back to reality by the man's comment. She blushed even more, turning her head away. She took his arm only to be polite and it would help if he showed her around.
"My name's Isabella by the way," she said.

"Hmmm, Isabella. Very nice name." he said as he then led her out of the alley when she took his offered arm.

"Mine is Akira. Akira Yoshida. At your service." he replied, "What brings you to this fine Kingdom of Hallardin?"

As he spoke he pointed out various buildings of businesses: which were good to go to, which to stay away from if you didn't want to get ripped off.

"Akira huh," Isabella said to herself.
She listened as Akira pointed things out to her, giving her some advice about of how this town worked.
"I was just... exploring and strayed away from one of the roads so... here I am," she replied.

"Ah, I see." he said and glanced down at her from the cornor of eye with a concerned look on his face that was soon replaced by a smiling one.

"You must be hungry, if you like I can by you some breakfast."

ooc: well my sis wants to reply real quick so this will be my last post 4 tonight, good night

Isabella looked up at him, her eyes big.
"Would you really?" she asked smiling. "Let's get something sweet then," she continued thinking of some crepes.
Hot crepes drizzled with strawberry sauce and some strawberries. Thinking about it made her realize her hunger. She hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon. She didn't want to stop and eat to save more time so she could get to her destination faster.

"Alright then, what would you like?" he asked

"Crepes..." Isabella said quietly looking ahead.

"Alright then Crepes it is," Akira declared and began to steer her toward one of the bakery shops.

At the entrance of the store he opened the door and a little bell jingled as he did so and held it open for Isabella.

Akira then led Isabella down a street going into what appeared a bakery. A little bell jingled as they headed in, Akira holding the door open. Once inside, Isabella could smell the sweet smell of bread and other goods. Isabella smiled happily as she looked around waiting for Akira.

Just as he closed the door behind a woman about in her mid-30s came out from the back with a smudge of flour on one cheek and on her apron. Her long brown hair was tied up in a knot on the top of her head and her brown eyes sparkled when she smiled. The woman smiled as she saw Akira's tall form.

"Well hello there Sir Akira, how can I help you?" the woman asked.

"Hello Mrs. Ellen Two Crepes please." he repiled.

She nodded at went to get the order. "Never thought you liked Crepes."

"I don't but they are for this young lady here," Akira said holding out his hand to show the baker Isabella.

Soon a woman appeared welcoming Akira.
"It's a pleasure to meet you," Isabella said getting up.
It looks like Akira is very well known around here. He must get along with the people here by the looks of it.

Ellen smiled warmly at Isabella " Pleasures all mine young lady," she said then handed Akira a plate with the crepes and a glass of milk. "The milk is on the house Akira, but you owe me for the food."

"Alright alright, I gotcha," he said before walking over to Isabella and setting the meal down in front of her then reaching into his pocket to pull out some money to pay the baker.

Akira sat down in the other chair across from Isabella's and smiled.

Isabella took her seat where Akira had set down a plate of hot crepes. She looked across the table at him and smiled.
"Thank you very much," she said.
Isabella took a bite and was in heaven. How long had it been since she had crepes. Isabella continued to eat until her plate was empty. She set her fork down and dabbed her mouth with a napkin.
"That was delicious," she stated.

"Glad you enjoyed it, Miss," Akira repiled.

Just then he heard a big commotion outside. Curious he stood up saying that he would be right back, and walked of the store to see what was going on.

Isabella looked away but smiled. Akira then said he would be right back and went to the front of the store. She could hear some kind of commotion outside and also got up. Curious, she followed Akira.
