Story: Zack was inrolled in the army, but he joined in in order to protect his family and others more then for the pleasure of war and for the good money it paid so he could send care to his sick mother. Unfortunately, when the war became more then serious, the pays lowered and the honored of serving and protecting his home planet and state werent anything, Zack decided he wouldn't stay and fled to go back home, take care of his mother and put her to safety.

One day, on Earth, Zack met Jasper - a quite loud fellow that was drunk and badly hurt by gun wound. Zack decided to help him and escort him back to where he lived. Jasper told Zack to bring him back on the ship called "The Volfeed". When Jasper and Zack arrived, Jo was startled and needed help. Zack offered help and they took care of Jasper by operating, removing the bullets and healing his wounds. To thank him, Jo offered Zack to stay and have supper with him.

"The only thing is... I lost my cook too... even if Jasper is an aweful cook" Jo said.

"Hey! I can cook anything! I'm pretty crafty" Zack said.

Anyway blablabla, Zack did create a gastronomic supper that impressed Jo, Mu... and even Ein was served like a king! Anyway, with those skills, Jo ask Zack to stay and be part of the crew. He admitted to Zack they were bounty hunters and sure could use Zack to help them out and do the cooking... at least for a while. Zack accepted. He know makes good money and vowes to go back to see his sick mother to take care of her.

In season one, it was revealed to Zack that he had an estranged brother name Jet. What? when? why doesnt he remember? What else did Zack forgot about his family and his past? ..and why did he forget?
