Name: Despair
Role: A being who shows all the sorrow and despair in the world. She is a neutral being who wanders through Hell.
Persona: Despair is a sorrowful self-loathing being. Her heart has turned black and is beginning to crack from all the sorrow she carries. Despair is very quiet and most of the time tears are seen falling down her pale face. She believes all is hopeless and those she meets end up in deep depression usually meeting their end in suicide.
Story: Despair was created from all the sorrow and self-hate from within people's hearts. This sorrow slowly gathered over time and it soon developed a rough self conscious. It became attracted to sorrowful humans and appeared occassionally as a ghost like figure. It soon longed for a body of its own, but was unable to make one. Despair wanted to be someone and experience life itself. This shadowy figure wandered the world this way until it happened upon a doll. It found a broken discarded doll created by the humans for it's entertainment. The doll was missing one of its glass eyes and was cracked in many places. It entered the doll's body creating a dark heart giving the doll life. She tried to experience happiness like many of the beings she saw. She had seen how not all were sad but happy. No matter what she did, she could not feel this feeling of happiness. She had thought that getting a body would set her free from all the sorrow but she still felt the heavy weight of such feelings. This only made sense because she was born from such feelings and being like her could never feel happiness. She now wanders through the world in despair.
