Alice woke up, the ropes tying her down to the bed were slashed, she was free. She took the butcher knife that layed next to her in the white sheets. The blade was shiny, screaming to bathe in blood.

The story was repeating itself again and again. However, this time would be different. A do or die situation. She could feel it in the core of her flesh and bones, in the core of her soul.

Naked, she turned around to face the open room door. She was still in the sanatorium. But once she would step out that door, the area would be turned into hell. ....It started.

A siren went off, the light faded drastically. The wall and the ceiling started peeling, blood gushed out of the deteriorated gypsum.

Alice gripped her butcher knife with a wide demonic grin and started walking in Hell. She walked down the corridors of Hell Sanatorium.

"Alice is home... or is she not?" she thought. "This will be such a horrible day... come on, time to play..."

Screams of the innocent shrieked everywhere. There was something coming, or rather someone, it was her. She was coming back again after such a long time. Last time had not gone too well, she didn't enjoy being there with everyone and rather she tried killing them all...
Kill her, kill her! She hurt you last time! She abandoned you! She tried to kill you! Kill her, stab her, strangle her, burn her! She must die! Alice must die! were the voices that screamed within the Hatter's mind as he stood in a puddle of scarlet blood. His hands painted with it as he held his hands to his head.
"I... Can I really?" he mumbled blankly.
KILL HER! Kill, kill, murder, slash, burn, strangle!
The voices continued to talk all at once, all of them saying the same thing. Kill Alice.

Unnatural light filtered through the Gothic style full length windows, castings it's rays across the polished black marble floor. Sitting upon a regal chair of ebony wood polished to a shine with a dark red the color of blood upholstery on a dais. A figure that seemed to be the age of a young woman, one pale leg crossed over the other in her hands a silver goblet filled sweet wine.

A wicked smile graced her lips as she shifted slightly in her seat, the folds of her long black dress edge with silver slid almost silently across the floor. Standing behind her chair stood two of her many guards, silent sentinels as for their tongues were cut out be she, the Dark Queen Narcissa, herself had cut.

Lifting the goblet up to her smiling lips she took a sip.

She had a feeling something... or someone had entered the realm she claimed as her own.

"Well well, seems like we have a guest here."

Cold rain fell on a poor pitiful girl who wore a ragged dress that used to be white but had become grey with time. She sat on the ground her knees curled up to her chest. She looked up through her light pink hair revealing her glassy blue eye which stared off into the distance. It continued to rain but there was something different about the world. Someone had entered this realm but who? Well it didn't really matter, nothing mattered anymore. All there was is despair, nothing else... Despair buried her face in her arms the rain sliding down her face making it appear as if she were crying.

"Hmmm...?" Cheshire looked up at the grey sky, a blank look in his eye. He could sense that familiar presence again. It was her... It was Alice. Smiling tiredly, Cheshire got up from where he sat and began to walk blindly to her. To Alice.

Something's changed

That inate feeling crept though a maiden's senses,as she devoured a cinnamonbun,still bakery fresh. She found herself somewhat intrigued by this sensation.Lately things have been far too quiet,for her taste. Perhaps a great hero had come to save them from the dark tyrant's rein? She smiled at this thought,but it wasn't a normal smile.It was a like the distorted smirk of a mental patient,who's soul had been lost for some time. She would keep a watchful eye for now,before deciding her next mood,like the creatures hiding away in the shadows of her dreams.

The Mad Hatter walked through the dark forest, the twisted trees reaching out their black branches to the dark sky. They became thicker as he headed deeper into the forest, thorny vines wrapping themselves around the trees. Soon in the distance a wickedly beautiful castle came into view, the Dark Queen's palace.

Her nude body still covered in the white bed sheets, Alice walked down the decrepid walls of the sanatorium. Behind the metal bars in the flesh like walls, Alice did not look, but she could have sworn shadows were lurking, watching her every move.

Already here?

She stopped walking and let the white sheet slide down her body. A demented look appeared on her face as she felt a demon quietly walk up behind her. She could smell his horrid breath from here.

Already going for the kill?

Alice turned around, holding the butcher knife solidly as she got ready to face the horned demon.

The demon made a move, and so did Alice. Alice slashed the demon's face over and over again before stabbing it in the throat, then generally stabbing him repetedly in the head, a huge smile on her face. Blood splattered all over her cheeks, nose, forehead and her naked chest.

An easy kill. A welcome kill.

Alice couldnt be more thrilled to finally be back home! She got up, thristy for more already.

She continued her way down the sanatorium hallways.

Cheshire soon stopped and slowly sat down right in the middle of the path. He grew tired of walking, so he decided to call her telepathicly instead. 'Alice... Alice...' he cooed through his mind to hers, smiling tiredly.

The Mad Hatter stepped into the dark palace and headed to the throne room where the Dark Queen awaited. His footsteps echoed off the large walls as he passed the many pillars. He could feel the hateful gaze of those who lurked in the shadows, slaves and monsters belonging to the queen. The Hatter stopped before two large doors where two guards stood on both sides. He stepped forward but they automatically crossed their weapons in front of the door, stopping him from going any further.
"Let me through," the Hatter demanded.
The stared at him with eyeless eyesockets which had crimson blood streaming down like tears. Their mouths were sewn shut with crossed stitches, their tongues most likely cut off. He stared at them, his hand twitching towards his weapon.

Narcissa set her goblet of wine on the arm of her chair before lounging about in it. Her gaze traveled to the huge doors as she heard the sound of a voice filtering fainting through.

She waved a hand to a nearby servant to open the door.

Suddenly, the door slowly creaked open and the two guards stood down allowing the Hatter through. He walked in going down the long hall to where his queen sat. The Mad Hatter stopped before her and bowed down.
"My queen, I assume you already know Alice has entered this realm once again," he said looking down at the ground.

She watched as Mad Hatter walk through the doors and down the hall, then bow down to her when he stopped in front of her.

"I have sensed her presence when she entered the realm, Hatter. And as much as it pleases me I absoultely loathe it..." She trailed off as she began to think.

"What are your orders?" the Hatter asked glancing up at her.

Alice stopped walking and stood still as a sudden voice infiltrated her mind. Who was that voice? She could not recall. Most of all, who dare entered her god forsaken mind.

Alice started shivering and dropped her butcher knife that landed at her feet. The eacho of the metal assaulted her ears, straight to her mind. She put her hands on her ears and dropped to her knees. She screamed in horror.

New demon attacks? Or was it her mind rotting? Her conscious on the other hand, perhaps?

Alice continued yelling madly. Oh so suddenly, the walls surrounding her collapsed. The sanatorium laid in debris all around her and the sun could reach her anew.

Alice stopped screaming and found herself in a dense forest. Off the concrete floor she was still on, a yellow path presented herself at her. On that yellow path, a human with cat ears, smiling.

"Please, do not be afraid..." Cheshire said, standing up from where he sat. His tail swished back and forth as he smiled at Alice. He then walked towards her, but stopped once he was a few feet away. "Welcome."

After some time, the rain stopped leaving Despair cold and wet. She looked up from her fetal position and observed her surroundings. Something had suddenly changed; that presence had fully entered this world. Why would anyone want to come into this world? It was full of sorrow and despair, there was nothing here, only suffering. Despair started to cry while thinking of that existence, they were going to regret it, she knew it would. She slowly got up, her ragged dress rustled with the cold wind. Barefooted, she walked away from that barren place going nowhere in particular.

The Dark Queen looked down at Hatter and smiled.

"Hmm, yes..." she was silent for a moment, before speaking again, "Hatter. I want you to find Alice and bring her here."

Narcissa narrowed her eyes at him. "I will not accept failure Mad Hatter. If you fail the consequences will be severe."

"Yes, my queen," the Mad Hatter replied.
He looked up at her with a wide smile, his eyes full of madness. The Hatter got up slowly and left the throne room smiling madly. he left the Dark Queen's castle and headed out in search of Alice.
We will find Alice and kill her!
No the queen, she said to bring her alive....
"The queen never said we couldn't hurt her," the Hatter said darkly with a chuckle.
Those who were nearby stared at the Mad Hatter with fearful eyes. They all knew not to associate themselves with such a man. The Hatter feeling that he was being stared at suddenly threw something at one of them. It was needle that landed right into their eye causing them to fall to the ground and let out a horrendous scream.
"It's not nice to stare," he said his smile gone.

deep in the woods two figures sat drinking tea when one of them who had blue hair looked up it seemed amused "Ne it seems alice-chan is back" it giggled lightly while the red headed figure across the table blinked "is she? how delightful shall we go greet her soon?" the other smiled "Yes" both broke into fits of mad laughter. what went through their heads no one could be sure.

"hm to court shall I go?" Rouge thought as she wwent through the woods,her small body allowing her to nimbly sneak around naturally.

"...but I may have to end up in the presence of that beast"she spoke making an expression,thinking of the queen's "pet wolf".

How the prescence of that thing sickened her each time she incountered him.She wasn't quite sure why,perhaps it was the innate finely tuned senses she had been born with.

She jumped onto a tree branch,fairly high,and looked up.She heard laughter in the distance,that familar laughter that all in this world seemed to posses. What she sensed eariler was different,from this laughter and presence.Perhaps the Queen would know more,she seemed to have this knowledge of things.To the average person, perhaps it would be frightening,but she found it a bit amusing.

"Now I'm late for afternoon tea," the Hatter said with a frown while the person screamed in pain.
He took out a faded golden pocket watch and looked at the time. He let out a sigh and left the palace grounds to go have tea before he searched for Alice. There was no use in rushing since he had no clue to as to where to search for her; he would have to pay a visit to the caterpillar.
